The founder

Lebrun Production grew out of a simple observation: between a studio that designs and a line that manufactures, there is almost always a missing figure, someone fluent in both languages. As a menswear creative director and independent production director, this is exactly the place I hold: where a brand’s intent becomes a product that is made, checked and delivered.

Menswear creative director and independent production director. Years spent between European cutting tables and Asian production lines, speaking the language of the product, fit, fabric, finish, as fluently as the language of the factory floor.

Founder of Lebrun Paris, a premium menswear house made in France. Background and creative work: damienlebrun.pro.

Vietnam at the heart of my setup, relocation on the ground underway, with an already-qualified industrial partner in China. Every factory is checked in person: no remote follow-up, no middle layer between your studio and the production line.

Damien Lebrun, founder of Lebrun Production

A path between creation and production

My training is that of a designer. I have drawn, developed and produced complete menswear collections, from the first sketch to the garment delivered in store. As founder of Lebrun Paris, a premium menswear house made in France, I know first-hand the standards of a brand that puts its name on every seam and every finish. It is this dual perspective, the one who designs the model and the one who has it manufactured, that sets a production office apart from a mere middleman. I don’t simply hand a tech pack to a factory and hope for the best: I read the garment, anticipate the stress points of a construction, know where a workshop will gain or lose quality, and translate a creative intent into precise manufacturing instructions the line can follow.

The method: the factory floor, not the spreadsheet

My method rests on the factory floor: every factory is checked in person, no remote follow-up from a desk, no chain of intermediaries between your studio and the production line. Before recommending a workshop, I check its machine park, its real know-how, its workload and its ability to hold a premium standard over time, not just on a demonstration sample. During production, I am present at the stages that truly matter: fabric approval, first-batch launch, in-line quality control, then pre-shipment inspection to AQL standards. Every stage comes with clear reporting. This physical presence, on the ground, is the only serious guarantee that a quote turns into a compliant product, at the right level of quality and within the agreed lead times.

Vietnam and China: the right country for the right model

Vietnam is at the heart of my setup, with a network of workshops qualified in tailoring, outerwear, sportswear and leather goods. For certain models (specific techniques, particular components, high volumes or tight target costs), China remains the better option, through an already-qualified industrial partner. The free-trade agreement between the European Union and Vietnam, and its rules of origin, also open concrete customs advantages for a European brand producing in Vietnam. The country is never a principle imposed in advance: it is a reasoned decision, made model by model, based on the best trade-off between quality, cost and lead time.

One single point of contact, from brief to shipment

You have a single contact: me. The same person who takes your brief, orients the country, selects the workshop, negotiates the firm quote, coordinates sample development and follows production through to delivery in Europe. The factory network stays confidential: what you get is a controlled result and a firm quote, not a list of contacts to manage yourself. This is how a dedicated production office works: the continuity and the standards of an in-house team, without the fixed costs of a permanent structure.

What you can hand over to me

A first production run in Asia to secure, a sourcing setup to make reliable, an existing line to move up in quality, or the full management of your outsourced production. Whether you are an independent brand launching its first collection or an established house looking to take back control of its manufacturing, the starting point is the same: a precise brief, a reasoned country recommendation, a workshop selected within a qualified network and a firm quote, model by model. You approve the sample and the price before any launch.
